Kirsty Exner’s Women’s Freeride Camps at Red Resort adding in a snowboarding and telemark component to the camps….

Dec 11, 2006 – Red Resort in Rossland, BC, sets the stage for the very successful Kirsty Exner’s Women’s Freeride Camps. These camps feature top female coaches, ripping terrain, and fun, friendly fellow skiers, boarders and telemarkers.

Join the Red Resort Ripping Coaches – Kirsty Exner, Olli Nagy, Tracey Billet, Karen Reader, Emily Kneeland, Rachael Roussin, Amy Exner and others for a fun filled weekend of instruction. Take your sport…be it on a 2 planks or just one wide one!... to the next level and learn to shred through the trees, moguls, steeps and hucks (for those inclined!)

These camps have typically been for skiers only but this is the first year Kirsty is opening it up to all disciplines. “People have been asking me for years if there is an option for snowboarders and telemarkers, so this year I have decided to make it something for everyone. It’s about a bunch of great women getting together, learning, conquering heights (literally!) and having fun, no matter what mode of snow transport is on their feet!”
Intermediate to advanced levels welcome. Ratio of instructor to participant is 6:1 so participants enjoy a quality learning experience and get in lots of vertical!

These camps include evening entertainment, video analysis, lunches, and fantastic prizes from sponsors. Skiing Magazine rated Kirsty Exner’s Freeskiing Camps as being one of the top 10 ski camps in North America. Red Resort is the host for this unique, grass-roots program that is now entering its 6^th year of operation. These camps are largely made up of return clients which says more about the quality experience of these camps than any advertising can.
